Job summary

Meta seeks an experienced Security Engineer for the Infrastructure Data Center Security & Compliance team. You will manage risk across logical and physical domains, design security controls, and implement guidance for enterprise-scale data center operations.

You will lead risk assessments, develop detection rules for facility systems, and support incident response across all domains, contributing to enterprise security strategy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, or related field.
• 7+ years in network or infrastructure security with ownership.
• Technical experience across security domains.
• Experience building security programs for large-scale infrastructure.
• Experience securing large-scale and/or mission-critical infrastructure.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network segmentation.
• Understanding secure network architectures for large-scale infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Own security risk management across logical and physical domains.
• Assess threats and communicate findings to inform decisions.
• Assess and report on effectiveness of security controls.
• Engineer security solutions across network, physical, and cyber domains.
• Develop security guidance to align policy with best practices.
• Integrate security throughout the data center lifecycle.
• Develop and implement detection rules for facility mechanical/electrical systems.
• Support security incident management across all domains.
