Fuze Health is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to partner across teams to enforce security controls, review architectures, and develop automation for security systems. You will drive vulnerability management, cloud and container security, and compliance initiatives while supporting audits and on-call duties.

The role requires 4+ years in security engineering with hands-on Kubernetes and scripting experience, in a fast-paced healthcare tech environment. Travel is minimal.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in security engineering focusing on infrastructure, application and cloud security.
• Hands-on experience securing Kubernetes (K8s) in production environments.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, Terraform or similar).

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with multiple teams to promote strong security controls and architecture reviews.
• Review designs to assess security posture and advise on architecture from threat modeling.
• Develop automation to integrate security systems across environments.
• Oversee vulnerability scanning across networks, containers, and cloud.
• Contribute to compliance initiatives (HiTrust, ISO 27001) from a security perspective.
• Support customer and vendor audits.
• Participate in on-call roster, including outside hours.
