Fuze Health is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to strengthen security across our infrastructure, cloud environments, and container platforms. You will partner with multiple teams to embed robust controls, conduct architectural reviews, and drive automation using Python and scripting.

Role involves vulnerability management, audit support (HiTrust, ISO 27001), and on-call participation. Strong Kubernetes experience and a proactive, collaborative mindset are essential.

Competenze

• 4+ years of experience in security engineering with focus on infrastructure, app and cloud security.
• Hands-on experience securing Kubernetes (K8s) and container platforms in production.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, Terraform or similar).
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with strong communication skills.
• Capable of working independently and in a team.
• Experience building security systems in Cloud and on-premises environments.
• Familiarity with firewalls, IDS, AV, authentication, log management, and filtering.
• Understanding of CIS benchmarks, NIST, OWASP, etc.
• Knowledge of web apps, APIs, and related protocols.
• Travel within the US may be required (irregular).
• BS degree in Computer Science or related field; Certifications listed above.

• Work with teams to promote strong security controls and perform architectural reviews.
• Review system designs to assess security posture and advise from threat modeling.
• Develop automation using Python and other tools to integrate systems.
• Write documentation including policies and procedures.
• Oversee vulnerability scanning across networks, containers, and cloud.
• Design and implement security controls for servers, clouds, and containers.
• Support compliance initiatives (HiTrust, ISO 27001) from security perspective.
• Assist with customer and vendor audits; participate in on-call roster.
