Fuze Health is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to advance infrastructure and cloud security across teams. You will design, implement, and enforce security controls, review designs, and contribute to architecture with threat modelling and automation.

You’ll build Python tools, run vulnerability scans, support audits (HiTrust, ISO 27001), and help respond to incidents. Expect regular on-call duties and collaboration with engineers, security, and product teams.

Competenze

• 4+ years in security engineering focusing on infra, app, and cloud security.
• Hands-on securing Kubernetes and container platforms in production.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, Terraform).
• Strong communication and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience building and maintaining security systems in cloud and on‑prem.
• Knowledge of CIS benchmarks, NIST, OWASP.
• Willingness to travel within the US occasionally.
• BS degree in CS or related field.
• Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, GIAC, OSCP.

• Promote and enforce security controls across teams and through architectural reviews.
• Review designs to assess security posture and provide threat-model based recommendations.
• Develop automation and internal tooling to cover security across platforms.
• Write documentation including security policies and procedures.
• Oversee vulnerability scanning across networks, containers, and cloud environments.
• Design and implement infrastructure security controls for servers, cloud, and containers.
• Contribute to compliance initiatives (HiTrust, ISO 27001) from a security perspective.
