You will collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to implement best-in-class security practices. Key duties include analyzing complex security issues, deploying and tuning security tools, implementing secure coding standards, and driving security automation within DevOps/DevSecOps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or STEM field.
• 5+ years of security engineering experience.
• Experience with security components (firewalls, IPS).
• Secure coding and DevOps practices experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex security issues (e.g., security events, threat models).
• Monitor, operate, and remediate security tools (firewalls, anti-malware).
• Implement security processes and standards (e.g., Michaels Secure Coding Standard).
• Develop security automation integrating with DevOps/DevSecOps tools.
• Collaborate with internal/external partners to support business goals.
• Execute security strategies to support business goals.
• Resolve cross-functional issues.
