Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to secure and harden our application, cloud, and infrastructure estate, spanning on-premises data centers and major clouds. You’ll implement controls across patching, hardening, identity, and secrets management, and scale AI-augmented tooling for faster, repeatable execution.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive security outcomes with ownership and clear metrics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of security, software, or DevSecOps engineering experience.
• Multi-cloud experience across two or more of AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.
• Hands-on work across patching, hardening, identity and access controls.

Responsibilities

• Secure and harden the estate hands-on across the full stack.
• Improve and optimize how security gets done, cutting cycle time.
• Implement and tune security controls in OS, containers, CI/CD, and cloud.
• Scale AI-augmented SAST and SCA tooling and validate fixes.
• Package reusable patterns and mentor junior engineers.
• Partner with teams to land changes safely and coordinate across regions.
