Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to secure and harden our application, cloud, and infra across on-prem and major clouds. You will implement controls, optimize patching cycles, and enable AI-assisted tooling with a focus on reducing risk while enabling fast delivery.

You will mentor junior engineers, partner with platform teams, and drive security metrics while scaling across regions and time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 5+ years of security, software, or DevSecOps engineering experience across app, infrastructure, and cloud.

Responsibilities

• Secure and harden the estate across full stack including apps, infra, and cloud.
• Improve patching cycles and golden-image refreshes to reduce cycle time.
• Implement and tune security controls across OS, containers, CI/CD, and cloud configurations.
• Scale AI-augmented SAST/SCA tooling coverage and review fixes by risk.
