Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join the Service Management & Transformation team in Frisco, TX. You will secure and harden our application, cloud, and infrastructure estate, spanning on-prem and major clouds, while driving automation and scalable security practices.

You will mentor engineers, implement robust controls across OS, containers, CI/CD, and networks, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver secure software at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of security, software, or DevSecOps engineering experience across application, infrastructure, and cloud
• Multi-cloud experience across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI (preferred)
• Hands-on with patching, hardening, cloud configuration, network isolation, and identity controls
• Experience with SAST/SCA tooling and remediation of vulnerabilities
• Track record of improving engineering processes and reducing cycle times

Responsibilities

• Secure and harden the estate hands-on across the full stack: apps, infra, cloud
• Rework patching cycles and golden-image refreshes to speed delivery
• Implement security controls across OS, containers, CI/CD, cloud config, networks
• Scale AI-augmented SAST/SCA tooling adoption and review fixes
• Mentor junior engineers with technical review of their fixes
• Collaborate with teams to validate changes safely and report security metrics
