Job summary

Meshy, a Silicon Valley‑based 3D generative AI company, is hiring a Senior Security Engineer to own security end-to-end. You will be the first dedicated security hire, building and operating security and compliance for a globally distributed team, in partnership with external vendors.

This is a high‑leverage builder role with hands‑on execution, focusing on hardening infrastructure, detections, incident response, and secure patterns for IAM, network segmentation, secrets management, and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in security engineering or cloud security with a track record of shipping security improvements yourself.
• Cloud security expertise: IAM, networking, workload and container security, secrets management.
• Hands-on experience building security capabilities in a fast-moving team.
• Strong incident response judgment and coordinating remediation across teams.
• Experience with secure SDLC practices and CI/CD integration.
• Experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar frameworks.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence across engineering, research, product, and IT.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate security foundations across the infrastructure and software stack.
• Own vulnerability management and incident response end to end: triage, remediation, runbooks, and coordination with compliance partners.
• Ship secure patterns for IAM, network segmentation, secrets management, and CI/CD pipelines, and drive adoption across engineering.
• Support the compliance roadmap and manage external vendors.
• Set practical security standards and build a strong security culture.
