Meshy LLC in Silicon Valley is hiring a Senior Security Engineer to own security end-to-end for a globally distributed product and infrastructure. You will build security foundations, drive incident response, manage vulnerabilities, and implement patterns for IAM, networking, secrets, and CI/CD, partnering with compliance and external vendors.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in security engineering or cloud security with a track record of shipping security improvements yourself, not just directing others
• Cloud security expertise: IAM, networking, workload and container security, secrets management
• Experience building security capabilities from the ground up in a fast‑moving team
• Hands‑on experience with modern security platforms
• Strong incident response judgment and experience coordinating remediation across teams
• Solid coding ability and familiarity with secure SDLC practices and CI/CD integration
• Experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar compliance frameworks
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence across engineering, research, product, and IT

Responsibilities

• Build and operate security foundations across the infrastructure and software stack
• Own vulnerability management and incident response end to end: triage, remediation, runbooks, and coordination with compliance partners
• Ship secure patterns for IAM, network segmentation, secrets management, and CI/CD pipelines, and drive adoption across engineering
• Support the compliance roadmap and manage external vendors
• Set practical security standards and build a strong security culture
