Job summary

Meshy, a Silicon Valley‑based 3D generative AI company, is hiring a Senior Security Engineer to own security end-to-end. You will be the first dedicated security hire, building and operating security and compliance for a globally distributed team, in partnership with external vendors.

This is a high‑leverage builder role with hands‑on execution, focusing on hardening infrastructure, detections, incident response, and secure patterns for IAM, network segmentation, secrets management, and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in security engineering or cloud security with a track record of shipping security improvements yourself.
• Cloud security expertise: IAM, networking, workload and container security, secrets management.
• Hands-on experience building security capabilities in a fast-moving team.
• Strong incident response judgment and coordinating remediation across teams.
• Experience with secure SDLC practices and CI/CD integration.
• Experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar frameworks.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence across engineering, research, product, and IT.

About The Role

We are hiring a Senior Security Engineer to own security at Meshy, hands‑on, end to end. You will be our first dedicated security hire, responsible for building and operating security and compliance. You will be hardening infrastructure, tuning detections, responding to incidents, and shipping secure patterns for a globally distributed team, in partnership with external vendors.

This is a high‑leverage builder role: broad ownership combined with deep hands‑on execution.

What you'll do

What you bring

• Solid coding ability and familiarity with secure SDLC practices and CI/CD integration.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence across engineering, research, product, and IT.

Nice to have

• Experience securing ML/GPU infrastructure or multi‑tenant compute platforms.
• Experience at globally distributed companies.
• Bilingual English and Chinese.
