Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in Application/Product Security or Security Operations with a focus on security tool onboarding and optimization
• Understanding of vulnerability management, network security, cloud security concepts and industry best practices across security fields
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to make informed decisions with little data
• Flexible and constructive approach to solving problems
• Ability to trade off build vs. buy and review available tools
• Understanding secure engineering best practices and communicating with technical and non-technical audiences
• Deep technical understanding of common security vulnerabilities and countermeasures
• Hands-on security engineer interested in automating controls

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to leadership and partner teams on security risks
• Lead security operation functions (vulnerability management, SAST, DAST, detection engineering, incident response) in CI/CD and cloud environments
• Integrate security into applications across the software development lifecycle
• Collaborate with product and development teams to balance security with agility and speed
• Drive bug bounty program, application security reviews and threat modeling including code review and dynamic testing
• Assess and integrate security tools to automate and scale security processes
• Gather and analyze security metrics to address cross-team issues
• Be a problem solver empathetic to developer concerns and build innovative solutions
