Job summary

Cisco is seeking an experienced Application Security professional to lead advanced penetration testing across on-premises and cloud portfolios in the Chicago area. You will design sophisticated attack plans and deliver detailed remediation guidance to development teams, ensuring resilient, secure products.

In this role, you will build and operate AI-driven security workflows to scale testing coverage, make risk-based decisions, and foster a proactive security culture that stays ahead of emerging

Qualifications

• 7+ years of application-level penetration testing experience.
• Experience across web, mobile, networks and distributed systems.
• Public cloud experience with AWS and GCP.
• Ability to develop and maintain custom tooling using Python or Bash.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced penetration testing engagements for on-prem and cloud apps.
• Craft attack plans and provide actionable remediation guidance to developers.
• Build agentic AI workflows to scale testing capabilities and coverage.
