Job summary

Cisco’s Application Security team seeks a senior penetration tester to lead offensive security engagements across on‑prem and cloud environments. You will craft attack plans, guide remediation with development teams, and scale testing with agentic AI workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 7 years of related experience, Master’s plus 4 years, or PhD plus 1 year in application-level penetration testing.
• Experience across web, mobile, networks, and distributed systems.
• Understanding of vulnerabilities and remediation strategies.
• Public cloud experience with AWS and GCP.
• Ability to develop and maintain tooling with Python or Bash.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced penetration testing engagements for on‑prem and cloud portfolios.
