Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join our Information Security Team. You will report to the Director of Security Engineering and help address global security challenges across Akamai's platform and customers.

You will collaborate with IT and engineering to provide security design guidance and drive secure deployments. Responsibilities include researching adversarial techniques, conducting security assessments, implementing risk-mitigating controls, and guiding

Qualifications

• Five or more years in information security engineering or related field.
• Experience with network security analysis or intrusion management.
• Knowledge of malware identification and vulnerability mitigation.
• Ability to identify software and application compromises and vulnerabilities.
• Experience securing infrastructure-as-a-service deployments.
• Familiarity with FedRAMP and/or CMMC environments.

Responsabilités

• Research adversarial techniques and emerging vulnerabilities.
• Conduct network, application and system security assessments and provide mitigations.
• Assist in designing and deploying security controls.
• Perform compliance investigations of internal systems.
• Document security guidelines and policies (NIST 800-53/800-171).
• Provide security guidance to Akamai business units.
