Akamai's Information Security team in Cambridge, MA, seeks a Security Architect to partner with product and engineering teams to embed security into design and development across Akamai's platform. You will drive secure design reviews, mentor teams, and act as an incident expert during remediation projects.

You will shape security across cloud, network, and AI-enabled offerings, leveraging threat modeling (STAMP/STRIDE) and cutting-edge defenses.

Qualifications

• Experience designing secure architectures for large, global environments.
• Knowledge of threat modeling frameworks such as STAMP and STRIDE.
• Ability to guide development teams on secure design choices.
• Fluent communication across a worldwide team.

Responsabilités

• Perform security-focused design reviews of applications, systems and networks across Akamai's products.
• Partner with development and infrastructure teams to assist with remediation of identified issues.
• Work with product development teams on secure design and development choices.
• Provide guidance and answering questions about security practices.
• Serve as a subject matter expert during incidents and remediation projects.
• Identify tools and processes to ensure products meet security and compliance requirements.
• Integrate responsible use of AI into workflows and ensure security for AI use.
