VTS is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to strengthen security processes across applications, cloud, and platform. You will design detection, investigation, and response capabilities and drive AI-augmented defense to shorten exposure windows.

Read code to verify findings, mentor engineers, and collaborate with legal and leadership to improve compliance posture, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, and security questionnaires. This role is based in New York, NY and requires four days in the office.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of experience in Security Engineering, AppSec, Vulnerability Research, or Incident Response.
• At least 2 years in a Senior-level capacity driving cross-team initiatives.
• Reading and understanding code in languages such as C, C++, Rust, or Go.

• Own security incidents end-to-end from detection to remediation.
• Lead vulnerability management and threat modeling across environments.
• Define AI-native defense concepts and integrate LLM-based analysis.
• Work with legal and leadership to mature compliance posture.
• Mentor engineers and influence secure coding practices.
• Read code fluently to validate findings at the source.
