Zencoder.ai is seeking a hands-on Senior or Staff Security Engineer to lead and own security across the company. You will work with ITOps, platform, and product engineers to improve security posture by embedding automated controls into workflows and testing them thoroughly.

The role requires deep expertise in application security, cloud security, and incident response, with experience in AI/LLM-enabled environments. Remote-first and equity are offered.

Qualifications

• Strong application security background with ability to spot exploitable flaws and fixes.
• Hands-on penetration testing across web apps, APIs, and cloud infra.
• Experience building detections and leading incident response.

Responsibilities

• Improve security posture without slowing delivery; automate controls into workflows.
• Test controls, address critical risks, drive fixes to completion.
• Find vulnerabilities through code review, pen tests, and red-team exercises; harden infra and delivery pipelines.
