Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Chicago is seeking a Senior Manager, Security - Detection & Incident Response to lead the incident detection and response lifecycle and to drive risk reduction across global operations. You will manage the MSSP SOC, develop KPIs, coordinate with architecture and engineering, and mentor teams.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of information security, hands-on IR, forensics, threat hunting, and scripting experience.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of information security experience with hands-on incident response and operations.
• Experience analyzing cyber incidents, writing reports, and presenting to business stakeholders.
• Experience developing automated case management systems; scripting preferred.
• Ability to lead teams in an agile environment and manage escalations.
• Knowledge of SOC, IR, threat hunting, and enterprise digital forensics concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead MSSP Security Operations Center for global events and incidents.
• Create and maintain strategic security roadmap, KPIs, and KRIs.
• Analyze incidents and coordinate remediation per IR processes.
• Develop incident response plans, playbooks, and training for teams.
• Recommend tuning of security tools based on threat intelligence and trends.
• Collaborate with architecture, development, and engineering to address root causes.
