Job summary

HKS, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Security Operations lead to manage threat monitoring, detection, and response, and to drive remediation across the organization.

The role requires building comprehensive security programs and dashboards to track KPIs, while mentoring junior engineers in incident handling and security documentation. You will develop executive-level security reports and a reporting framework aligned with regulatory requirements, and collaborate with IT teams on security architecture

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in cyber security incident response and remediation.
• Experience across all layers of the OSI model.
• Advanced competency with Microsoft Server, Intune, Office 365 and Azure.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and enforce security operation standards including monitoring, detection, incident response and vulnerability management.
• Lead remediation efforts to strengthen security posture and reduce risk.
• Oversee incident response investigations and perform root cause analysis; produce detailed reports.
