Job summary

Prodata Systems NV is seeking a security consultant to join a team of consultants based in Zaventem, serving customers mainly in Belgium. The role includes design, implementation, and support of security solutions, with occasional travel.

You will work across security platforms and contribute to customer evaluations and successful deployments. The position emphasizes hands-on architecture, pre-sales support, and ongoing certifications to stay current with evolving threats and technologies.

Qualifications

• Solid working knowledge of Ethernet and TCP/IP networks.
• Experience with perimeter security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC).
• Strong content security (anti-malware, web security, URL filtering).
• Experience with Identity Management technologies.
• Familiarity with security management solutions (UTM, SIEM, audits).
• Understanding of security governance and regulations.

Responsibilities

You will work as part of a team of consultants based in Zaventem and will work for customers who are mainly based in Belgium. Job Description

• Discover and test new solutions, components or features
• Participate in trainings and obtain the required certifications
• Build architectures and designs based on customers' requirements
• Perform audits and suggest improvements
• Provide technical product presentations and demonstrations
• Elaborate, implement and maintain customized solutions to meet customers' needs
• Provide pre-sales technical support
• Keep up to date on new technologies, standards and evolutions
• Run technical product trainings
• Provide support for customer product evaluations
• Resolve incidents and problems raised by the customer and escalates to providers if needed
• Participate in projects and coordinate activities
• Document customers' infrastructures and implementation details
• Knowledge, skills and experience

Required

• Solid working knowledge of Ethernet and network protocols such as TCP/IP, as well as the network core services (DHCP, IPAM, DNS)
• Solid experience in perimeter security (firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, Network Access Control, penetration testing)
• High experience in content security (anti-malware, web security software/appliances, URL filtering, content inspection)
• Strong skills on Identity Management technologies
• Knowledge of security management solutions ( Unified Threat Management, SIEM, audit )
• Experience in Security governance and regulations

Desirable

Experience with Checkpoint, F5, Okta
