Job summary

NVISO is seeking a Senior Penetration Tester based in Brussels, Belgium. You will be responsible for emulating malicious user actions, advising on security changes, and coordinating penetration testing projects.

Job description

As a Senior Penetration Tester based in Brussels, Belgium, you will be responsible for:

Tasks

• Fuse technical and non-technical skills to emulate actions that could be taken by malicious users or systems.
• Understand the psychology, systems, and tactics used by threat actors to proactively test clients' ability to detect, respond to, and adapt to attacks.
• Help design, develop, and recommend security solutions to protect clients' proprietary and confidential data and systems.
• Support compliance objectives by providing guidance on the logical protection of information system assets.
• Advise clients on security implications when making changes to their network, system, and application architecture.
• Prepare reports on the effectiveness of information security controls and recommend the adoption of new policies and procedures.
• Leverage a broad range of offensive security techniques, including social engineering, exploit development, and process exploitation.
• As a senior profile, coordinate penetration testing projects end-to-end and support junior testers in their day-to-day delivery and professional development.

Requirements

• You hold citizenship in one of the 32 NATO member states.
• You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent work experience in the field, and 2+ years of professional experience in the field.
• Good knowledge of ICT systems, networks and security technologies.
• Knowledge of operating system security concepts.
• Able to work independently and to deliver results.
• Positive, team and mission-oriented attitude.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communications skills that enable the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Candidates must recognize and deal appropriately with confidential and sensitive information.
