Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Blockchain Security Auditor to join on-site in Welkom, Free State. You will conduct in-depth security assessments of smart contracts, DApps, and blockchain protocols to safeguard digital assets.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 years in cybersecurity, with 4+ years focused on blockchain security, deep Solidity knowledge, and proven penetration testing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or Computer Science.
• Minimum 6 years in cybersecurity, with at least 4 years focused on blockchain security.
• In-depth knowledge of smart contract languages (e.g., Solidity) and common vulnerabilities.
• Proficiency in security auditing tools and methodologies.
• Strong understanding of blockchain architecture, consensus mechanisms, and cryptographic principles.
• Experience with penetration testing and vulnerability assessment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively in Welkom, Free State (South Africa).
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, OSCP) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Audit smart contracts, DApps, and blockchain protocols for security risks.
• Identify vulnerabilities, bugs, and risks in code and system architecture.
• Perform penetration testing and exploit analysis to validate findings.
