Job summary

Placements24 is recruiting for a leading auditing firm specializing in decentralized technologies. We seek a Senior Smart Contract Auditor to join the team, initially based in Rustenburg, North West. You will audit Solidity contracts, identify vulnerabilities, and guide clients toward secure designs.

You will mentor junior auditors, shape audit methodologies, and stay current with vulnerabilities and exploit patterns. There is a clear path toward remote work after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in CS, cybersecurity, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in software/cybersecurity with blockchain auditing.
• Expert Solidity and EVM expertise; proven vulnerability identification.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive security audits of smart contracts in Solidity and related languages.
• Identify vulnerabilities like reentrancy, overflow, unchecked calls, and logic errors.
• Develop audit methodologies and tools to improve efficiency.
• Generate detailed audit reports with risks and remediation steps.
• Mentor junior auditors and share knowledge internally.
• Stay updated on latest vulnerabilities and trends.
