Formación

• Bachelor's or master's degree in CS, cybersecurity, or related field.

About the Role

Our client, a leading auditing firm specializing in decentralized technologies, is seeking a seasoned Senior Smart Contract Auditor to join their esteemed team, initially based in **Rustenburg, North West**. Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive security audits of smart contracts written in Solidity and other relevant languages.
• Identify vulnerabilities, such as reentrancy, integer overflows, unchecked external calls, and logic errors.
• Analyze smart contract logic for potential economic exploits and gas optimization opportunities.
• Develop and refine audit methodologies and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of security assessments.
• Generate detailed audit reports for clients, clearly outlining findings, risks, and recommended remediation steps.
• Collaborate with clients to explain audit findings and guide them through the process of securing their smart contracts.
• Stay updated on the latest smart contract vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and blockchain security trends.
• Contribute to the firm's knowledge base by documenting new findings and best practices.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior smart contract auditors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development or cybersecurity, with a significant portion dedicated to blockchain and smart contract auditing.
• Expert-level proficiency in Solidity programming and the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).
• Demonstrated experience in identifying and exploiting common smart contract vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with security analysis tools and frameworks (e.g., Slither, Mythril, Securify).
• Strong understanding of various blockchain protocols and decentralized application architectures.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical risks to non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple audit projects simultaneously.
• Experience in the **North West** region is a plus, but not required for remote consideration.
