LPL Financial is seeking an AVP, Security Architect to lead security design across cloud, on‑premises, and data security architectures. You will collaborate with Development, Operations, and Enterprise Architecture to ensure secure environments and effective threat prevention.

Strong governance, risk management, and program leadership are essential. The role requires experience in security controls and standards, plus cloud and data protection, with a focus on M&A security integrations.

• 6+ years in information security and IT risk management.

Mansioni

• Mature network, infrastructure and data security capabilities for LPL.
• Support M&A integrations and secure design and solution implementation.
• Create best-of-class infrastructure/data security architecture designs and patterns.
• Collaborate with Data and Enterprise Architects on securing data with masking and tokenization.
• Document, socialize, maintain, and train stakeholders on security requirements.
• Identify cybersecurity issues, strengths and weaknesses across cyber domains and partner organizations.
• Develop, review, and approve cybersecurity standards and ensure controls are met.
• Participate in security advisory boards and committees and drive security reviews.
• Analyze potential impact of new threats and implement mitigation strategies.
