Job summary

LPL Financial seeks an AVP, Engineering Security Operations to lead a team responsible for the operational effectiveness and innovation of security engineering controls across LPL. You will ensure robust security for critical infrastructure and applications while guiding incident response and threat hunting.

The role requires senior leadership across security domains, collaboration with IT teams, and driving improvements in tooling, automation, and regulatory compliance within a finance

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in information security with leadership
• Experience across network, endpoint, cloud security and IAM
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in financial services

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of security engineers for daily operations and maintenance of security tech
• Oversee implementation and optimization of security tools and platforms
• Develop playbooks and runbooks for incident response and threat hunting
• Drive continuous improvement of security operations processes and automation
• Collaborate with engineering and IT to embed security into design and deployment
• Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new security technologies
