LPL Financial is seeking an AVP, Engineering Security Operations to lead a team responsible for the operational effectiveness, improvement, and innovation of security engineering controls across the firm. This role focuses on securing critical infrastructure and applications while guiding incident response and threat hunting.

The position emphasizes leadership, collaboration with IT and architecture, and ongoing improvement of security tooling and processes.

Competenze

• 10+ years in information security with leadership in operations/engineering
• 2+ years managing SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, Exabeam, Sentinel)
• 2+ years with EDR solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Defender for Endpoint)
• 2+ years with vulnerability management platforms (e.g., Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7)

Mansioni

• Lead a team of security engineers for daily operations and maintenance of security technologies
• Oversee tool configuration and optimization to enhance security posture
• Develop playbooks and runbooks for incident response and threat hunting
• Drive process improvements and automation across security operations
• Collaborate with engineering/architecture to embed security requirements in designs
• Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new technologies
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to engineers
• Participate in incident response and regulatory compliance reporting
