Job summary

Snowflake is seeking a Senior Security Architect for the Applied Field Engineering team in Menlo Park, CA. You will lead security architecture efforts across IAM, data security, secure AI adoption, and platform hardening, guiding customers to deploy Snowflake’s AI Data Cloud with a robust security posture.

You will drive security frameworks, governance, and operational readiness, collaborating with Sales, GTM, Engineering, and Customer teams to deliver secure, scalable AI-enabled solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data, Security, Networking, Infrastructure or AI Engineering.
• Strong technical communication skills with demos, whiteboard sessions, and presentations.
• Customer-facing skills to engage senior leadership and enterprise architects.

Responsibilities

• Security Architecture Foundation: Drive strategic engagements focused on the Security Architecture across IAM, data, and infrastructure.
• AI Security & Trust Foundations: Support secure AI adoption using Cortex to bring LLMs to customer data within a secure env.
• Architect trusted Agentic AI frameworks with Human-in-the-loop controls and auditability.
• Deploy Cortex Guard and AI Observability to filter content and provide transparent AI interactions.
• Governance & Identity: Build reference architectures for IAM, data governance, row-level security, and encryption.
• Resilience & Compliance: Guide multi-region deployment patterns and measurable BC/DR outcomes.
