Job summary

Snowflake is seeking a Principal Security Architect to join the APJ Field CTO Office as a security evangelist, architect, and hands-on SME. You will build security reference architectures, converse with executives and technical audiences, and help shape Snowflake's AI and Data Cloud security posture.

The role requires 10+ years in security, deep knowledge of RBAC/OAuth/IAM, and extensive cloud security experience across AWS/Azure/GCP.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry, customer-facing, and hands-on security experience.
• Strong understanding of RBAC, OAuth, IAM, encryption and data governance.
• Experience with cloud security architectures on AWS/Azure/GCP and related tooling.

Responsibilities

• Help scope security feature enhancements for customers and coordinate with Product Management.
• Clarify data concepts and governance in security discussions for data engineering and data warehousing.
• Build demos and prototypes using Snowflake with integrated security solutions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Support to drive security feature adoption.
• Partner with Product Marketing to define Snowflake's AI and Data Cloud security posture.
• Share knowledge via webinars and conferences; engage with Field CTOs on Enterprise AI and Gen AI.
