Job summary

Prudential Financial, Inc. in Newark, NJ seeks a Senior Analyst to provide day-to-day operational support for PGIM Credit's Securities Lending business.

You will partner with traders, brokers, custodians and internal teams to ensure timely, accurate processing across cash-collateralized lending, with a strong emphasis on control and risk management. The role requires 3–5 years in fixed income operations and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in fixed income operations, middle office, trade support, settlements, collateral management or securities lending.
• Understanding of fixed income products, lifecycle controls and settlement practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and risk assessment skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, detail-oriented with a focus on control and process improvement.
• Ability to balance daily production with projects and automation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support daily settlement of securities lending loans, returns, recalls, restructures and related activity.
• Serve as primary operational contact for traders, brokers, custodians and internal partners across the loan lifecycle.
• Coordinate issue resolution, communicate status, risks and actions clearly and timely.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to settlement fails, recalls, corporate actions and overdrafts.
• Support cash-collateralized lending for fixed income products per controls and procedures.
• Analyze activity, trends and metrics for management reporting and risk monitoring.
• Partner with technology/ops to identify automation opportunities and reduce manual risk.
• Maintain relationships to support service levels and escalation in the Securities Lending platform.
• Stay informed on industry initiatives and regulatory developments affecting operations.
