Job summary

PGIM, the Global Asset Management arm of Prudential, is seeking a Senior Analyst to provide day-to-day operational support for Securities Lending. Based in Newark, NJ, this role focuses on loan lifecycle controls across execution, returns, recalls, settlements, and issue resolution, with a hybrid in-office schedule.

You will partner with traders, broker-dealers, custodians, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of cash-collateralized lending, especially for Corporate Bonds

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in fixed income operations, middle office, trade support, settlements, collateral management, or securities lending operations.
• Understanding of fixed income products, trade lifecycle controls, settlement practices, and collateralized lending activity.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to coordinate with front office, brokers, custodians, and operations.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business applications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support the daily settlement of securities lending loans, returns, recalls, restructures, and related activity.
• Act as a primary operational point of contact for Securities Lending traders, broker-dealers, custodians, and internal Operations partners.
• Manage operational issues, coordinate across teams, and communicate status, risks, and actions clearly.
• Identify, elevate, and mitigate risks related to settlement fails, recalls, corporate actions, and client impact.
• Support cash-collateralized lending activity for Corporate Bonds and U.S. Treasury securities.
• Analyze activity, trends, and metrics to support management reporting and risk monitoring.
• Partner with technology and operations to identify automation opportunities and reduce manual risk.
• Maintain relationships to support service levels and timely escalation.
• Stay informed on industry changes affecting securities lending operations.
