Job summary

JT4, LLC seeks a Secure Storage Administrator to build and sustain secure enterprise storage with robust access controls. The role involves configuring SANs, maintaining OS security, and coordinating with ISSM/ISSO and Storage Engineers to ensure system reliability across development, test, and production domains.

The candidate will manage VMs, containers, and client systems while following established security policies and procedures under a DoD-related contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field with strong IT experience.
• Nine+ years of experience in computer system related areas of expertise.
• Experience maintaining operating systems in centralized and distributed server environments.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain/maintain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Builds and sustains a secure system utilizing access control.
• Reviews system performance with Storage Engineers and ISSM/ISSO.
• Configures and maintains a SAN for performance, reliability, and confidentiality.
• Performs daily OS security, backup, restore actions, and testing.
• Manages virtual machines, containers, and client systems.
• Serves as POC for problem reporting and contract monitoring.
• Ensures documentation of policies, procedures, and configurations.
