Job summary

JT4, LLC is seeking a Secure Storage Administrator to design, configure, and maintain secure enterprise systems across development, test, and production environments. You will coordinate with ISSM/ISSO, manage SAN storage, and ensure data confidentiality while supporting vulnerability management and system hardening.

The role requires a rigorous background in Red Hat Linux, OpenShift, and container technologies, plus the ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and at least 9 years in computer system areas.
• Experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers/workstations.
• Operational knowledge of OpenShift for managing system images and containers.
• Experience operating in classified environments.
• CompTIA Security+ or DoD 8140 certification within 6 months of hire.
• Scripting/automation: Bash, PowerShell, Python, Ansible.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Builds and sustains a secure system utilizing access control, including mandatory/discretionary/attribute-based controls.
• Reviews system performance with Storage Engineers and config with ISSM/ISSO.
• Assists ISSM/ISSO with vulnerability management and security of the system.
• Configures and maintains a SAN to ensure performance, confidentiality, and reliability.
• Performs daily OS security, access control, backup/restore actions, and tests restore procedures.
• Manages assets and provides hand receipts for issued equipment.
• Serves as POC for problem reporting and coordinates maintenance and contracts.
• Recommends future hardware/software implementations and process improvements.
• Maintains separate security domains for development, test/staging, and production environments.
• Provides operational status to stakeholders as required.
• Documents policies, procedures, and configurations for multiple audiences.
• Other duties as required
