Job summary

Cornerstone Defense is seeking a Systems Administrator IV (Storage) in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph to apply and focuses on installing, configuring, and managing a large client-server IT enterprise.

The candidate will oversee SGI IRIX/UNIX storage environments, GPFS/Lustre clusters, NFS/CIFS storage, and related backup/recovery strategies. Remedy ticketing and enterprise storage technology are used daily.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
Ten years of demonstrable system administration experience.
Five years of full-time CS work can substitute for the degree.
Experience installing, configuring, and networking UNIX and/or NT based platforms.
Ability to develop backup/recovery strategies and verify IT health.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain UNIX/NT platforms and related services.
Manage backups and system configuration files across the enterprise.
Provide support for DNS, NFS, and email services and security measures.
Support storage infrastructure including SGI IRIX, SAN storage, and clustering products.
