Job summary

SHR Consulting Group is hiring a Storage Services Systems Administrator to operate and maintain a large SAN spanning on-premises, alternate site, and hybrid cloud. The role supports DISA J-9 hosting and compute, ensuring data availability for critical missions.

Qualifications

Hands-on enterprise storage administration in multi-fabric SAN environments.
Experience with storage virtualization and policy-based storage management.
Experience with enterprise backup/recovery, including disk-to-disk-to-cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

Deliver storage administration and virtualization across multi-environment SAN.
Own full O&M lifecycle for the SAN, including upgrades and migrations.
Provide migration support for relocation to future-state environments with phased progress.
Install, configure, and tune backup servers and agents in the enterprise backup environment.
Monitor backup jobs and ensure service levels per the catalog.
