Job summary

JCS Solutions LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Virtualization and Storage Engineer to support the DTRA I3TS Infrastructure Services team. The role involves installing, configuring, securing, operating, and maintaining servers, equipment, and software related to VMware virtualization and storage technologies across multiple geographic locations.

Candidates must demonstrate advanced problem-solving skills and communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with required experience in DoD environments.
• IAT Level II certification required (Security+, CCNA-Security, GSEC, or SSCP).
• Advanced VMware knowledge including vSphere, vRealize, Horizon, and VDI.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain VMware ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and VMs across multiple sites.
• Design scalable enterprise storage architectures for performance, resiliency, and high availability.
• Configure Omnissa Horizon components including connection brokers and load balancing.
• Ensure DISA STIG compliance and security hardening across the environment.
• Provide performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization of VDI environments.
• Develop and maintain documentation for virtualization architecture and processes.
