Job summary

TekSynap seeks a Sr Software Developer to design, develop, test, and sustain software for COMSEC mission operations. You will build secure features, automate workflows, and integrate APIs across cloud and on-premise environments while aligning with DoD/IC requirements.

Expect collaboration with cyber, systems, and operations teams in a DMV-area setting. The role requires Top Secret/SCI eligibility, 10+ years of development experience, and hands-on work with AWS/Azure, Python, C#, and SQL.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with NIST 800-53.
• Experience with security control lifecycles.
• Experience with Integrated Development Environments.
• Experience with API development platforms and/or build automation tools.
• Experience with AWS.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience with SQL.
• Experience with Azure.
• Experience with C# or equivalent certifications/experience.
• Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications.
• Develop secure application features and automated workflows.

• Support modernization of legacy COMSEC applications.
• Write maintainable, secure, and well-documented code.
• Perform software troubleshooting, debugging, and defect resolution.

• Support cloud-based and hybrid application environments.
• Apply security controls throughout the software-development lifecycle.
