Job summary

TekSynap in the DMV area seeks a Senior Systems Engineer - Cloud and Application Integration to design, integrate, test, implement and sustain systems for COMSEC operations and modernization across applications, infrastructure, automation, cloud services, databases and security engineering.

You will develop system designs, support API-based integration, apply NIST 800-53 controls, and coordinate with cybersecurity, software and network teams.

Qualifications

Senior Systems Engineer - Cloud and Application Integration

Department of State COMSEC IT Services contract. The Senior Systems Engineer - Cloud and Application Integration will design, integrate, test, implement, and sustain systems supporting COMSEC operations and modernization. The role will work across applications, infrastructure, automation, cloud technologies, databases, and security engineering.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• API development platforms and/or build automation tools

• C# or equivalent certifications/experience
• Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments. This includes the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations. Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape, is highly desirable.

• Environment: onsite in office

• Schedule: Schedule is day shift Monday - Friday. May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs

Wage Information

Target salary range: $120,000 - $185,000. The salary range displayed is an estimate and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements. The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
