Qualifications

• Active Maryland Master Electrician license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in building maintenance/engineering with strong electrical depth.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Strong understanding of NEC, building codes, and OSHA standards.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel between portfolio properties and work in adverse weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, and inspections across all building systems.
• Serve as the senior technical authority for electrical systems including switchgear, distribution, feeders, transfer switches, generators and UPS.
• Maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, fire alarms, mechanical controls, and security infrastructure.
• Coordinate third‑party vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or inspections.
• Respond to service requests related to maintenance issues across mechanical and electrical domains.
• Lead facility improvement projects and capital upgrades with budgeting and contractor oversight.
• Oversee and review contractor work, support permitting and ensure code compliance.
• Operate facility ticketing systems to track work orders and close tasks.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and temporary contractors.
• Perform all duties in alignment with OSHA safety protocols and company procedures.
