Job summary

Salas O’Brien seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead power distribution, emergency power, and resiliency design for secure, high-hazard facilities. You will develop construction drawings, perform system studies, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure mission-critical reliability.

Candidates should have a PE license, 10+ years of design experience, and the ability to obtain security clearance. Baltimore, MD or DC area; extensive travel required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• PE license preferred; ability to obtain security clearance.
• Minimum 10 years of design experience in electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead power distribution, emergency power, and resiliency design for complex facilities.
• Develop construction drawings, specifications, and studies.
• Coordinate with mechanical, structural, fire protection, and security disciplines.
• Perform load calculations and short-circuit studies; verify code compliance.
• Provide construction administration and field-condition validation.
