Job summary

Accenture Senior Manager in Cyber Resilience & Defense leads end-to-end SOC modernization initiatives, guiding clients from current-state assessments to target-state designs and implementation oversight. You will build maturity roadmaps, drive staffing models, and mentor teams while engaging directly with C-suite stakeholders.

The role requires expertise in SIEM/SOAR, threat intelligence, and AI-enabled security, with a proven track record of sales and program delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in security operations across multiple domains.
• Minimum 7+ years designing, optimizing and assessing log ingestion architectures in hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
• Minimum 7+ years in business development with $2M+ annual bookings or pipeline ownership.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience with threat intelligence frameworks and detection engineering methodologies.
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role in the SOC or related consulting roles.
• Minimum 5 years on leading SIEM/SOAR platforms.
• Minimum 1 year in Secure AI, agentic coding, AI architecture, or AI governance frameworks.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SOC modernization engagements from current-state assessment to target-state design and implementation oversight.
• Develop SOC maturity roadmaps, operating models, staffing models, and playbook frameworks.
• Lead and quality-assure threat detection engineering, triage workflow redesign, and metrics/KPI framework development.
• Oversee integration of SIEM, SOAR, TIP, EDR, NDR, and UEBA platforms in modernization programs.
• Create battle-tested Incident Response runbooks and enable automation using AI capabilities.
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver cutting-edge capabilities powered by technology partners.
• Maintain relationships with technology partners to support go-to-market efforts.
• Deliver and evolve SOC offerings incorporating automation and AI to improve clients’ defensive posture.
• Develop SOC methodologies, toolkits, and accelerators (NIST, ISO, etc.).
• Mentor senior consultants, managers, and architects on the team.
• Work with adjacent domains to deliver integrated client solutions.
