Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Senior Manager for the Cyber Resilience & Defense practice in the United States. You will lead end-to-end SOC modernization engagements, develop maturity roadmaps, and drive threat detection engineering while coordinating with clients and technology partners.

Travel 25–100% may be required. It requires a strong track record in security operations, business development, and leadership within SOC or security architecture.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in security operations across multiple domains.
• 7+ years designing, optimizing and assessing log ingestion architectures across hybrid/multi‑cloud environments.
• 7+ years of business development experience with $2M+ annual bookings or pipeline ownership.
• 7+ years of experience with threat intelligence frameworks and detection engineering methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SOC modernization engagements from current-state assessment through target-state design and implementation oversight.
• Develop SOC maturity roadmaps, operating models and playbook frameworks tailored to client environments.
• Lead and quality-assure threat detection engineering, triage workflow redesign, and metrics/KPI framework development.
• Oversee integration of SIEM, SOAR, TIP, EDR, NDR, and UEBA platforms as part of modernization programs.
• Implement detection-as-code practices, including Sigma rules, CI/CD pipelines for detection deployment, and versioning in source control.
• Collaborate with project teams and clients to deliver cutting-edge capabilities powered by technology partners.
• Maintain relationships with technology partners to support go-to-market efforts.
• Deliver and evolve SOC offerings incorporating automation and AI to improve clients’ defensive posture.
• Build and scale the SOC modernization offering with methodologies and accelerators.
• Create IR runbooks and facilitate automation using AI capabilities via playbooks and agents.
• Advise on securing AI systems deployed within the SOC and discuss LLM-related risks.
