Job summary

Genuine Parts Company seeks a Senior Analyst of SEC Reporting to support the preparation of financial statements, SEC filings, and related analyses as the company transitions to standalone public status.

This role helps establish and improve financial reporting, disclosure, and internal controls, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC requirements, and SOX, while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of Accounting or Finance experience required.
• CPA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and coordination of SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, Proxy, Section 16).
• Assist with separation-related SEC filings and amendments.
• Prepare and analyze cash flows and related schedules.
• Support earnings releases, investor presentations, and disclosures.
• Maintain SEC reporting calendar and coordinate inputs from stakeholders.
• Support responses to SEC comment letters and related research.
• Monitor accounting developments and assess impacts.
• Assist adoption of new accounting standards and disclosures.
• Analyze financial and operating metrics for external disclosures.
• Support internal and external audit activities and SOX processes.
• Collaborate with finance, accounting, legal, investor relations, and other teams.
