Job summary

Motion Industries, Inc. seeks a Senior Analyst of SEC Reporting to support the preparation of financial statements, SEC filings, and related analyses as the company transitions to standalone public status.

This role will help establish and improve financial reporting, disclosure, and internal control, ensuring reporting is timely, accurate, and compliant with U.S. GAAP, SEC requirements, and applicable standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in Accounting or Finance.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting; SOX familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and coordination of SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, Proxy).
• Support separation-related SEC filings and periodic disclosures.
• Analyze cash flows and reconcile to accounting records and disclosures.
• Assist with earnings releases and investor presentations.
• Maintain SEC reporting calendar and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Support responses to SEC comment letters and related research.
• Research accounting developments and assist implementation of new standards.
• Analyze metrics to support external disclosures; support audits.
• Assist with SOX control documentation and evidence gathering.
• Develop reporting policies, calendars, templates, and governance docs.
