Job summary

Grocery Outlet Inc is seeking a SEC Reporting Senior Analyst to manage end-to-end external financial reporting, technical accounting, and equity-related reporting in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will prepare and review 10-Q/10-K filings, balance sheet reconciliations, stockholder equity disclosures, and support annual audits. A CPA is preferred and experience with public company reporting is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• Active CPA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting, financial reporting, or technical accounting experience likely required.
• Experience with SEC reporting including Forms 10-Q/10-K/8-K preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and tie-out of SEC filings and earnings materials.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather and document financial information.
• Support GAAP checklists and disclosure controls.
• Assist in equity-related accounting and reporting and stock-based compensation disclosures.
• Support SOX 404 compliance and improve reporting processes.
