Job summary

Vaco is partnering with a publicly traded client in Atlanta to fill a manager-level SEC reporting position. The ideal candidate will have strong SEC experience and a track record of leadership potential to grow within the organization.

Responsibilities include preparing SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, Proxy, S-8), accounting for equity and debt transactions, assisting month-end close, and maintaining support for all disclosures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• Public accounting experience or equivalent in industry with public company exposure required.
• CPA certification is required.
• Strong SEC experience and ability to meet deadlines is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, Proxy, S-8).
• Account for equity and debt transactions, stock-based compensation, investments, acquisitions/divestitures, impairments.
• Assist with month-end close and provide data for budgets/forecasts.
• Maintain support for all publicly filed financial statements and disclosures.
