Job summary

Jobot is seeking a seasoned Senior Advisory Accountant for a permanent, hybrid role within our Accounting and Finance team. You will ensure accuracy and compliance in SEC reporting, preparing and filing 10-Q and 10-K materials and coordinating monthly consolidation.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, 5 years in SEC reporting or public accounting (Big 4 preferred), and strong GAAP knowledge. Hybrid work with in-office collaboration and competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• CPA or MBA is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of SEC reporting or public accounting experience, ideally with a Big 4 firm.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file quarterly and annual SEC reports (10-Q, 10-K) with drafting of financial statements and footnotes.
• Assist with monthly consolidation process and preparation of consolidated financial statements.
• Conduct technical accounting research to ensure GAAP and SEC compliance.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual internal financial reports.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for documentation during audits.
• Monitor new SEC and GAAP reporting requirements and update processes accordingly.
• Support special projects like process improvements or system implementations.
