Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Advisory Accountant for a permanent, hybrid role in our Accounting and Finance department to ensure accurate financial reporting and SEC compliance, including preparation of 10-Q and 10-K filings.

The position offers a blend of work-from-home flexibility with in-office collaboration and the potential for a substantial bonus. Location options include Providence, RI, Allentown, PA, or Louisville, KY.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA or MBA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of SEC reporting or public accounting experience, preferably Big 4.
• Proficient knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and financial reporting.
• Experience with consolidations and SEC filings.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented and deadline-driven.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file quarterly and annual SEC reports (10-Q, 10-K) including financial statements and footnotes.
• Assist with monthly consolidation and preparation of consolidated financial statements.
• Conduct technical accounting research to ensure GAAP/SEC compliance.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual internal financial reporting.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews.
• Stay updated on SEC/GAAP changes and adjust reporting processes.
• Assist with special projects such as process improvements or system implementations.
