Job summary

ONE Gas, Inc. is seeking a senior financial reporting leader in Tulsa, OK to supervise SEC filings, financial statements, disclosures, and related documentation. You will partner with management on new accounting standards and coordinate with auditors to support audits and deliverables.

The role requires strong accounting knowledge, strategic thinking, and the ability to coach and develop staff while maintaining accurate, timely reporting across the organization. CPA preferred; travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Typically 7–10 years of relevant experience; minimum 5 years required.
• Leadership experience not strictly required, but preferred for supervisory duties.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting policies, budgeting, payroll and/or tax.
• Experience using Excel/Access/Word/PowerPoint for reporting and analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to train and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct employees responsible for SEC and financial reporting activities.
• Coordinate and support preparation/review of quarterly/annual SEC filings and financial statements.
• Evaluate new accounting standards and document conclusions; implement requirements.
• Coordinate with internal/external auditors and support audit deliverables.
• Provide day-to-day technical guidance and develop employees.
